Tourist guides hoping for fair share of the business


THERE is an ongoing discussion among the Tourism Ministry, Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) and Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) on the necessity of continuing the present regulation requiring guides to be assigned on tour buses ferrying both domestic and foreign tourists.

I find it difficult to comprehend why they are spending so much time and money on these meetings which have been going on for a long time.
