I SYMPATHISE with the MACC chief commissioner and understand his feelings of despair and disappointment over the recent report showing that Malaysia’s position in the Corruption Perception Index has deteriorated to a worse ranking, putting us among the less admired countries in the world.
He rightly said that despite the string of arrests and prosecutions, the world still doubted our country’s seriousness in fighting corruption.
