Forced into using the car lanes

Story about pot hole near midvalley motor lane in Federal Highway, Kuala Lumpur.

I REFER to the letter “Motorcyclists not sticking to dedicated lane” (The Star, Feb 6).

It is true that some motorcyclists are not using the designated lanes along both sides of the Federal Highway between Kuala Lumpur and Klang. However, from what I observe being a motorcyclist myself, it is only about 5% who are stubborn and who break rules by using the car lanes, posing a danger to themselves and other road users.
