DANIAL Rahman’s “The road ahead for education policies” (The Star, Jan 18) touches on a most important topic. There’s no doubting that education is a vital investment for Malaysia’s social and economic development. As with other nations, our various traditions, culture and faith have, in varying ways, impacted upon our education system.
The challenge is to ensure our education system evolves to meet 21st century demands.
