Burdened by push to excel

I WOULD like to highlight some severe “malpractices” by many schools in Sibu. I have no idea if such practices by the school authorities here are prevalent throughout the nation or even the state, but in our case it is bordering on the ridiculous. The Education Department would do well to take note and hopefully, for the sake of the younger generation, take action. They have to.

I would first state that my penning of this letter is not an act of vengeance, anger or whatever. My motivation is simple – the long-term interest of the students and to stop this wastage of talent.
