Help senior citizens at the ticket machines

I WENT to the ticket counter at the Seremban railway station on Jan 11 to ask for a senior citizen’s ticket/token to Mid Valley KTM station. The young lady at the counter showed me a KTM Komuter 1Malaysia Card and asked if I had one, to which I replied that I didn’t. She informed me in a dismissive tone that I must buy the ticket at the machine.

When I asked her how the machine would know that I was a senior citizen, she asked for my identity card. Without a word, she entered the details in her computer and then asked me to pay RM5, which I did. She then gave me a card and a receipt but did not say a word about what the card was.
