Banting folk want bigger and better hospital

DESPITE assurances that Banting Hospital would be upgraded with more facilities as well as specialists, nothing has happened over the past one year. The number of patients in this hospital is increasing and so has their dissatisfaction.

The Health Ministry needs to study the seriousness of this problem. Patients are expecting better quality care and treatment, which can only be delivered if major changes are made. The present cramped and congested conditions do not allow the hospital to offer better services or have more doctors and specialists.
