I REFER to the report, “Students must overcome fear of speaking English, says Mahdzir” (The Star, Oct 2) where Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid highlighted the problem of students, particularly those from the rural areas, conversing in English.
He meant well. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as it appears.
