GPs need government help to upgrade


I REFER to the letter “Help GPs to be great again” (The Star, July 17) by my respected colleague from Sabah, Dr John Teo.

While all the issues on the plight of general practitioners (GPs) raised by Dr Teo are real, I wish to add another aspect that the Govern­ment needs to look into, namely the post-graduate programme for GPs to upgrade their knowledge.
