Don’t have physical confrontation in front of pupils

I WAS taken aback when I read that a primary school teacher in Sibu had chased her headmaster out of her classroom and splashed hot water on him in front of her pupils in “Ministry awaits police report to act on HM’s assault” (The Star, June 19).

There must have been some serious misunderstanding or argument between the two. But no matter how angry the teacher was at that moment, she should not have acted in that manner. She could have easily marched into his office and argued with him out of the sight of everyone, especially the children.
