TENAGA Nasional Berhad (TNB) is in the midst of installing the infrastructure to supply power to Damansara City Centre. This involves the construction of a massive cable bridge to support Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables at the back of some houses facing Jalan Johar. The cable bridge is approximately 200 metres long.

We, the residents of the affected houses in Medan Damansara, were approached by an engineer from TNB, Rubiatul Adawiyah Zaidi, on the late afternoon of Jan 17 for our consent to build this bridge. The explanation given for the necessity of this bridge was that the cables supplying power to Damansara City Centre could not be placed underground beyond the junction of Jalan Kasah and Jalan Johar due to congestion of the existing underground cables at that junction.
