All the culprits must be brought to book

I REFER to the report “Minor accident at condo sparks attack on lorry driver” (The Star, Jan 20). How can such a horrendous crime be “amicably” settled? Must there be a police report before action can be taken against the culprits?

The victim must have been too terrified and traumatised to make a police report, fearing the power of the Datuk and his connections.
