More details of HSR welcome

I MUST admit I was rather disappointed to read the response by MyHSR Corporation, “HSR helps move things on right track” in Your Opinions page (The Star, Dec 19), to the commentary “A new start for old neighbours” (The Star, Dec 16) as I feel it failed to answer some of the pertinent questions raised.

The chief executive officer says that the connectivity between Malaysia and Singapore will usher in a new era of growth, prosperity and opportunities for both countries. But sadly, he has failed to provide much-needed clarity on how such connectivity would ac­­tually be beneficial to Malaysia and how businesses will become more productive.
