Check these medical colleges


I REFER to the letter “Poser over medical schools” (The Star, Dec 2). What the writer highlighted is not an isolated incident as there are some medical colleges that are shambolic indeed.

Recently, my nephew who had been rejected by some medical colleges but still harboured aspirations of becoming a doctor was offered another opportunity when he saw an advert last month announcing that admissions were open for entry into the medical college. It was odd as most medical colleges would have closed admissions by July.
