THE victory of Sadiq Khan in the election for Mayor of London is very encouraging and sends an important message to the world that everyone, irrespective of his/her social, political or religious background, has the potential to serve mankind and the world.
Sadiq’s success also reminded me of Dr B. R. Ambedkar who was born a Dalit (Untouchables) but he overcame the disadvantages of his birth to become a statesman in his country.
