LAST weekend, an award-winning choir of Mongolian children performed at selected venues in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. These are extraordinary kids. They were formerly street children subjected to abuse and poverty, but they were lifted up with the love and support of donors, and the assistance of an international organisation which provides care and relief to children in nearly 100 countries.
During the event, a few advocates also shared their experiences working in poverty-stricken regions.
