Malaysians need to step up

AS a mother of three young children, I feel increasingly worried with every new report on dengue. Of particular alarm is the fact that there seems to be no stopping the incidence of new cases, “A Week into 2016, 1,000 Extra Cases” (The Star, Jan 12).

There is a recurring sense of helplessness: Have we done all that we can to manage this very real threat to our livelihoods and families?
