I WAS at the SM Hin Hua in Klang, a prominent private Chinese school, yesterday. It was having a dance, exhibition and food programme in conjunction with Deepavali next week. What I witnessed was a celebration of unity in diversity.
In the spirit of respecting cultural differences and fostering understanding, the school organised this noble activity for its community. It was initiated by the administrators of the school and I came to know of it through the teachers.
