Open a public enquiry on orang asli children

THOUGH time and tide waits for no one, let us, however, pause for a moment and reflect on how the seven orang asli children, aged between seven and 11, lost their way on Aug 23. Thank God the oldest two among them were found alive, though famished and traumatised by the ordeal they had experienced, and are now recuperating.

However, we need to set up a commission of public enquiry to bring closure to such an unparalleled, unprecedented and unexpected tragedy.
