Be more aggressive in protecting sea turtles

THE Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) Penang Branch is extremely disappointed that thieves who take sea turtle eggs are getting away scot-free. It is an offence to be in possession of sea turtle eggs under Malaysian Law. Yet the thieves blatantly dig up the nests and take the eggs right in front of many witnesses.

People who steal turtle eggs should be considered common criminals and they must be brought to book.
