Losing the battle to stop the spread of dengue fever

BEING a resident of Bukit Antarabangsa which had almost no cases in the past, we are now inundated with reports of dengue fever in our neighbourhood. It is now almost weekly that we hear of a new case.

It occurred to me that we are no longer safe – not safe from robbers and from mosquitoes that carry the dengue virus. Now we can’t even do gardening in the early morning or before sundown.
