Drop GST to help buyers

I FULLY agree with Frustrated Purchaser, “Unfair to charge GST on progressive billing” (The Star, June 19) on giving GST exemption for commercial property purchased before April 2015 but currently under construction. I am also a victim of this new tax system and face a similar dilemma.

When I bought my office unit about two years ago, there was no mention of GST or any tax scheme whatsoever during the purchase.
