Rajagopal a role model for all of us

THE story of office boy R. Rajagopal who took care of Low Saw Piow, a complete stranger and of a different race, for 10 years until the latter’s death recently, blew me away, “An act of uncommon kindness” (The Star Online, July 8).

It is astounding that there is among us such a man and his family who, despite their own modest means, took it upon themselves to care for a fellow human being who was desperately in need.
