Employees should accept VSS or MSS and move on


ONCE again the subject of a Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS) or a Mutual Separation Scheme (MSS) is in the news.

While it is understandable that affected employees, especially the long-serving ones, would strongly object to such a move, it must be realised that the VSS and MSS are usually exercised as a last resort to keep the affected companies sustainable.
