Not fair to blame Pos Malaysia for loss

I READ with amazement a letter “Disappointing Pos M’sia has not replied” (The Star, March 5) and “Compensated only for postage, not lost parcel” (The Star, March 6), complaining about non-delivery of parcels of food items sent overseas to India and the Czech Republic respectively by airmail for their children.

How can Pos Malaysia know how such packages are treated by the Customs as well as the services in the recipient countries?
