IN REPLY to the article “Eyesore in Brickfields” highlighted on Sept 30, the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (PPSPPA) Kuala Lumpur has investigated the issue.

We found that the locations highlighted in Jalan Thamby Abdullah, Brickfields are commercial areas with shoplots occupied by tenants.
