Mix our kids in schools from young

Parent Action Group for Education Malaysia (PAGE) was formed in 2008 with the initial mission of appealing to retain the teaching and learning of Science and Mathematics in English (PPSMI) policy in national schools.

It has been six years since we made our first headway, and our maiden cause still flies high, despite the abolition decision made for the cohort who started Year One in 2011. PAGE has always been in the forefront of the PPSMI discussion and will continue to forge on, with the confidence that the education system will “be in a position to begin to create widespread bilingual proficiency” in 2016 as planned in Wave 2 of the Malaysia Education Blueprint (MEB).
