Aptis in best interest of nation

OVER the past few days, we have had a number of letters on the effectiveness of the Aptis test (an English assessment administered by the British Council) and questioning the validity of the Cambridge Placement Test (CPT).

The CPT was first administered to teachers of English nationwide about two years ago and it was only recently that the results were revealed to the teachers.
