Children neglected because parents are too busy

MANY parents nowadays are busy working in order to earn more money. Due to the rising cost of living, they have to work hard to make ends meet.

In their pursuit of money, they tend to forget that they have another role to play, which is to educate their children. Home is the first school where children learn how to behave and act through their observation of their parents’ behaviour.

Parents should educate their children by showing a good example so that their children will do exactly what they see in them. Children spend more time at home than in school, therefore, parents should monitor their childrens’ activities and with whom they spend their time.

By doing so, it will prevent them from getting involved in any destructive activities which can ruin their future forever. As the saying goes, “prevention is better than cure”. Early detection will save them from any destructive activities.

Children are our future leaders so they need guidance from adults, especially parents, who are the most influential people in their life.
