Smart move to reduce carbon intensity by 40%

THE Government’s approval of a Cabinet paper on the setting up of “green neighbourhoods” and “low carbon cities” is another commendable demonstration of its intent to “walk the talk” on its commitment at COP 15 in Denmark in 2009 to reduce the national carbon intensity by 40% by 2020.

It is critical to ensure that energy use is reduced in whatever we do in our everyday life.
