WHEN confronted, most people would say they are not racist. But we have witnessed and are witnessing inter-ethnic and intra-community violence in many parts of the world.
While violence like that experienced during the May 13, 1969 riots is not a feature in Malaysia today, hate speeches and intolerant actions are prevalent. The question before us is who, then, is a racist?
