I SHED a tear reading the article “Child abuse, a victim speaks out” (The Star, Aug 21), where innocent children suffer the most when parents are unable to resolve disputes amicably.
Children bear the biggest heartache and pain when parents quarrel and go their separate ways and eventually divorce. There is no such thing as a happy separation or divorce as it is painful, most so when young children are involved.
