Need to look into traffic woes in Malacca

I am from Malacca but working in Penang now. I would like to thank Chief Minister Datuk Idris Haron for looking into the traffic jam problem. However, I do not agree with closing down Jonker Walk. (The CM has since clarified that he did not mention the closing of Jonker Walk but only that the street be reopened to traffic.)

Whenever I return home, I try to avoid going out if possible. Even if I go to town, I will park some distance away, nearly 1km, and walk the rest of the way.
