TRAFFIC Southeast Asia commends the recent closure of six zoos that failed to meet standards required to ensure animal health, safety and welfare under the country’s new zoo regulations.
The Regulations, passed in February, 2012 are ancillary provisions made under the country’s Wildlife Conservation Act 2010.
