I WRITE this letter in the hope that the authorities will revoke the licence of sundry shops that sell liquor in housing areas.
Last week, I witnessed a heart-rending scene. A 10-year-old girl was struggling to revive her grandfather who had passed out on the passageway of a block of flats in Paya Terubong, drunk on samsu purchased from a sundry shop nearby. He had urinated all over himself and along the passageway.
