What happened to Seremban’s landmark clock?

WHEN the current Seremban bus terminal was constructed several years ago, there was a clock tower donated by members of Seremban Jaycees as it was known back then.

I believe the Jaycees got the Japanese watch company Seiko to donate the clock, while its members went round to collect donations to pay for the construction of the clock tower. The Jaycees’ clock tower was certainly a landmark of Seremban town as people coming to the bus terminal would easily notice it.
