THE Parent Action Group for Education Malaysia (PAGE) wishes to applaud the Prime Minister for “bringing early childhood education to 700,000 children” when announcing the results of the Education National Key Result Area (NKRA) on “improving student outcomes”.
Pemandu (Performance Management and Delivery Unit), on its website, states that although “Malaysia’s education system has progressed by leaps and bounds over the past 50 years, education outcomes still fall behind countries in our vicinity such as Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea.
