WE AGREE with “More effort needed to prevent obesity” (The Star, Dec 10). Every one has a role to play in preventing obesity and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The National Strategic Plan for NCDs, announced by the Health Minister, will be the framework for Malaysia to move forward in combating this increasing epidemic.
