We need more organ donors

I REFER to the letter “Living donors a viable option” (The Star, Nov 16).

I am a cadaveric transplant recipient. My transplant operation was done in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) on July 27, 1996. I enjoy a normal life, having graduated with an MBA from the Malaysian Graduate School of Management in University Putra Malaysia in 1999. I also represented Malaysia in the 9th Australian Transplant Games in 2004, 15th World Transplant Games in Ontario, Canada in 2005, and an organ donation talk in Japan in 2000.
