AS A Sarawakian, my family and I are frequent users of the express boats, travelling between Sibu and Kapit during Gawai holidays, and it was devastating to hear of the collision of the express boat and the barge.
I just wonder whether there were safety jackets for the passengers on these express boats in case of an emergency? Most of the time there are no safety jackets in any of the express boats.
