I AM very concerned by the view expressed by Azizabas “Beware of the fake datuks around us” (The Star, Oct 2) and his call for a national registry for datukships.
Another thing that intrigues me is the use of “datuk” title even by the children of these title-holders when writing down their names in registration forms and cards.
