Songkok is part of ceremonial dress for reps

IT'S sad to note that after 50 years of achieving Independence, a DAP state assemblyman is getting into the limelight for the wrong reason - refusing to wear the songkok during the recent opening ceremony of the Johor state assembly.

I would offer my sympathy if since becoming a state assemblyman, he is required to move a round daily wearing a songkok as it would to a certain extend cause him a great deal of inconvenience in as much as it is cumbersome.
