IT’S time to remove the shackles. Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who has been initiating reforms in his administration, must take another step towards greater democratic Malaysia by reviewing the numerous laws restricting the media.
The Prime Minister has made positive moves in the judiciary and in the fight against corruption. He cannot allow this opportunity to slip by; he must now look at the changes taking place in the media.
