THE Petaling Jaya Council (MBPJ) held a public briefing on Dec 8, at Section 7 Kota Damansara Community Hall to inform residents of the PJ Local Draft Plan 2 (RTPJ2), but questions posed by residents were not answered.
Anxieties pertaining to the RTPJ2 stemmed from a number of issues. The most burning would be the destruction of the Sungai Buloh Forest Reserve to make way for development of a cemetery, low-density housing area, and open area. MBPJ no longer recognises Sg Buloh Forest as a 'forest area'.
