THE Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) views with the utmost concern the latest mafia-style shooting of four policemen during a drug raid in Sungai Buloh by suspected members of a drug syndicate in an ambush resulting in two deaths while another two sustained injuries. 

Several quarters including the Prime Minister have raised concerns as to whether the anti-drug operation could have been better executed with careful planning and back-up squads to assist in the operation. Were they well equipped when they carried out the raid?
