What is the Northern Corridor Economic Region project that covers Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak all about? In a nutshell, to eradicate hardcore poverty and to give the rural and farming folk a higher standard of living. 

THE masterplan for the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER), to be launched at the end of this month, will be very much different from the Iskandar Development Region (IDR) which is a special economic zone created in Johor.
