I WAS recently discharged from the National Heart Institute after treatment for a heart ailment.
The commitment, dedication and hard work of Datuk Seri Robaayah Zambahari , Datuk Dr K. Balachandran, Dr Razali Omar and other staff of the institute compels me to write to record their achievements.
Having been in Mayo Clinic a number of years ago, I can, with confidence, state that the our National Heart Institute is one of the best in the world, and we Malaysians can be proud to have such medical expertise and facility in our country.
Indeed accolades have been showered on the National Heart Institute as evidenced by grateful gifts and plaques displayed in the rooms of the institute.
Prominently on display are plaques from neighbouring countries.
The treatment I received was so full of kindness and care, that I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
It is imperative that other hospitals in the country should achieve par status with the National Heart Institute.
When that goal has been achieved, Malaysia would indeed be a “healthcare hub” in the region
A GRATEFUL PATIENT,
Ipoh.
