On April 4. I took a day off to renew my birth certificate at the National Registration Depart-ment in Ipoh

It took a couple of hours although there was just a handful of people. I could not get my wife's soiled birth certificate replaced as she was from another state and was told that I could return to collect it in a week's time as their system was not linked up as yet.
