WORLD Vision was founded in 1950 by Robert Pierce who was touched by the plight of children and families in the Korean War when large numbers of children were left orphaned. Over the years the organisation has grown and currently it works in 104 countries.

The humanitarian organisation helps over 80 million people through its projects around the world. Its aim is to help save lives, bring hope, build a sustainable and stable future and restore dignity to people irrespective of gender, ethnic background, nationality or religion.
