Public toilets should be free of charge

PUBLIC toilets are supposed to provide citizens convenience. However, many public toilets charge money, some as high as 30 sen. Even toilets in LRT stations and in some parks charge for usage.

Once I got off at an LRT station and wanted to use the toilet. However, there was a money collector with a “30-sen” sign. I was reluctant to pay and held on until I found a restaurant with “free toilets.”
